City Electric Service has done a number of things over the years for me: remodeled the lighting in the kitchen with recessed lights and a ceiling fan and then came back to install a back-up generator. Recently they remodeled the basement lighting. What is especially impressive is that they do superior work, always on time, very efficient in quality and speed of work, clean up completely when the work is finished for the day, very creative solving problems and making design suggestions. "Matt with City Electric is an excellent electrician. He can do pretty much anything,
which is a bonus, because my house is old and it posed a few problems – during various remodels, junction boxes were hidden and electrical outlets were not grounded correctly; light boxes were too shallow, and so forth. He fixed all the easy stuff and he also heavied-up the house to 200 amps. What was impressive is that he was able to separate the main panel from a sub panel during the heavy-up process, so that I can rent out my basement and keeps all the breakers pertaining to the two units separate. He has all the materials and gives you an estimate straight up. He also has a good knowledge of what kind of materials re best—hydraulic vs. electric for baseboard heaters; spot lights, etc. He will pick up tings from Home Depot for you if you buy then on the website. His knowledge and his willingness to get the materials make my life easier. He also accepts cred cards!"
